So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.
Psalm 100:2
Living Sober helps men break the vicious chains of substance abuse and addiction.
Our judgment-free, faith-based rehabilitation program guides men like you through a 12-step program that prepares you to face the world with Christ on your side, free from addiction or substance abuse plaguing you. But like our other ministry, Living Free, Living Sober also builds up men holistically by investing in life skills, servant leadership, and counseling, empowering men to be leaders, workers, and valuable members of our community. By successfully completing the Living Sober program, you’ll find the value and sharpness of sobriety, and have the tools to remain steadfast through life even as temptations to relapse may surface.
Each member of Living Sober stays on-site in private living quarters, with shared kitchen, dining, and entertainment areas. This communal dynamic helps encourage communication, fellowship, and accountability among residents as they achieve and sustain sobriety through faith and understanding in Jesus Christ. By embracing faith and understanding in Jesus Christ, and by trusting and leaning on the other men in Living Sober, participants find hope, healing, and transformation in their new lives without substance addiction or abuse.
